Platform Scales

Platform scales have a sturdy steel platform linked to a weight display indicator unit. They are available in sizes up to 2.0 x 2.0 metres, although the popular and more economical sizes are 1.2 x 1.2 metres or 1.2 x 1.0 metres and are ideal for weighing pallet loads. These products are mainly intended for permanent siting in warehouses and at the premises of scrap metal dealers as a method of weighing (or counting) large and heavy or bulky items. Stainless steel versions are available for use within the food industry or if they need to be sited outdoors.
