Moisture Analysers

Moisture analysers are used for the measurement of moisture content in a sample. It is often necessary to monitor the percentage of moisture content in commercial food production, but there are also many other applications where trace moisture measurements are necessary for quality assurance purposes in manufacturing processes. Trace moisture in solids must be controlled for plastics, pharmaceuticals and heat treatment processes. The product is essentially a very high precision electronic balance which first weighs the sample, then dries it using the built-in heater before weighing it again. It is then able to calculate and display the percentage of moisture within it.
